Free Horse Craft: Stable Picture Frame
Horse craft for kids brought to you by Annamaria Tadlock

This project is a posicle frame that resembles a horse's stall.

Craft Supplies:

* 7 Popsicle Sticks
*Glue
* Pen

Optional:
Wire, twine/yarn, colored pencils, stickers, cardboard

Craft Directions:

Glue your 6 popsicle sticks together as shown, making a frame and stable door. The 7th stick is for making the name plate.

Once the glue dries, you can decorate the stable by drawing or making a latch out of wire, putting on stickers, etc.

I used a brown pencil to make lines in the wood to make it look like stable wood.

Next, you can make the nameplate by breaking the last popsicle stick into a small section and writing your horse's name on it with a pen.

Glue your picture on the back of the frame, and you're one!

You can make your picture safer by gluing a piece of cardboard on the back to give it strength, and if you want, glue a piece of twine on the back of the top stick to use as a hanging loop. I glued a little piece of metal on for a stable latch.
